The most egalitarian of random voting rules

A couple of years ago, we came up with a new randomised voting rule called ESR (Egalitarian Simultaneous Reservation). The rule was presented in a paper at AAAI 2014.

Prof. Anna Bogomolnaia called it the "most ordinally-egalitarian of random voting rules"
and "the right way to generalise the Serial rule to the general random voting domain."

Recently, a web applet has been developed by Antonia Schmalstieg from Technischen Universität München to illustrate and play around with the rule. Check it out!
