Complexity Science focuses on systems of many interdependent components, showing Emergent behaviour at the system level, Self-organisation and/or Evolution. (Quoted from here ) There is a useful reading list for Complexity Science at the Warwick Complexity Complex website .

Michael Trick has made major contributions to operations research. He has also done some of the earliest work on complexity considerations in social choice. Therefore it was a nice surprise to run into a blog of his .
